Machinist / Fabricator

Job Description

Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of Quality objectives.

Reviews Work Requests to check details of specifications for the jobs/tasks assigned.

Prepares and checks machines (lathe, milling grinder, shaper), material requirements and other details of the job before finally start with a job.

Operates the appropriate machine according to jobs specifications in the Work Requests they receive.

During machine operation, monitors condition of the machine and checks the quality of output from time to time.

Prepares daily accomplishment report.

Helps in maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area, including the assigned machines, materials and tools used.

Performs everyday duties while ensuring compliance to the existing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedure.

Performs every day duties in accordance with accepted work safety practices and standards, established by the Company in compliance with the provisions of existing laws and government standards.

Performs cross functional activities as needed.

Attends meetings, orientation/seminars/training activities as required or as instructed by superiors or as the need arises.

Performs other duties that maybe assigned in relation to the current job.

Education / Experience

Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Engineering Mechanical or equivalent and/or Graduate of Industrial technician

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field

Experience Machine shop works, operating LATHE machine, MILLING machine, SHAPER machine, can do Fabrication works, welding jobs, GAS cutting and BRAZING job

Contract length: 5 months (Project Based)

Promotion to a permanent employee
