Job Description
- Operate conveying and packaging machinery according to established operating procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications and company standards.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify machine malfunctions and report or assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to minimize production downtime.
- Assist with changeovers, setup, and other production-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational graduate; a technical certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
- Dependable, disciplined, and committed to producing quality work.
