Job Summary
The Preventive Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and optimizing production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of production equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues before they lead to breakdowns.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and industrial equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in FMCG or chemical/detergent manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
