M&E Engineer - Revit / Building Services

We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer with strong Revit skills to support the design and coordination of building services for major UK construction projects.

The successful candidate will work on detailed M&E coordination, clash detection, and complex building-services layouts, helping identify and resolve design issues early in the project.

Must Have

-Degree or professional background in Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, or Building Services Engineering

-Solid professional experience in M&E/building-services engineering

-Strong hands-on experience using Revit

-Experience with clash detection and design coordination

-Experience coordinating multiple M&E services within complex or restricted spaces

-Ability to review technical designs and identify potential coordination issues

-Practical understanding of construction and building-services requirements

-Strong communication and collaboration skills

-High attention to detail and ability to manage technical priorities

-Ability to work independently and meet project requirements

-Good written and spoken English

Responsibilities

-Develop and coordinate M&E building-services designs using Revit

-Review models and drawings to identify design and coordination issues

-Perform clash detection and help resolve conflicts between different building services

-Coordinate mechanical and electrical services within tight or complex spaces

-Work closely with project, engineering, and construction teams

-Review technical information and provide practical coordination solutions

-Help identify potential issues during the design stage before they affect site work

-Maintain accurate and well-coordinated Revit models and documentation

-Support design development and coordination throughout the project

-Communicate technical issues, updates, and proposed solutions clearly to the team

Plus to Have

-Experience working on UK-based construction or building-services projects

-Experience with large residential or multi-unit developments

-Knowledge of UK building-services practices and standards

-Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams

-BIM coordination experience

-Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination/clash-detection software

-Previous experience working with international or UK-based teams

-Strong understanding of constructability and site coordination

-Experience identifying design issues before construction begins
