We help Americans unlock wealth and free themselves from the corporate day-to-day grind through acquisitions. We're a rapidly growing firm, and we're looking for sharp, adaptable, and highly organized individuals to join our lean, remote team.
If you are a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented M&A Associate looking to support the full lifecycle of client transactions from deal sourcing to closing this role is for you. This individual will serve as a right hand to the Deal Maker, ensuring accountability across teams, providing oversight on key workflows, and stepping in where necessary to move deals forward.
What You'll Do
- Support full-cycle deal execution: Help keep transactions organized and moving from sourcing through closing with clear communication and consistent follow-through.
- Monitor deal flow and momentum: Track workflows across teams, spot where progress is slowing, and flag risks or blockers early so deals stay on pace.
- Own quality control on deliverables: Review valuations, presentations, and client-facing outputs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Manage key communication channels: Triage escalated client questions in Slack and email, route items to the right owners, and ensure timely, thoughtful responses.
- Step into delegated approvals: Assist with sign-offs on models, documents, and other deliverables to prevent delays and keep work moving.
- Support LOI and valuation stages: Help review and approve valuations as deals enter LOI and coordinate next steps with the Deal, LOI, and Closing teams.
- Coordinate diligence and closing: Maintain checklists, confirm deliverables, align stakeholders, and help manage pre- and post-LOI processes through to close.
- Act as a deal firefighter: Jump in where needed to troubleshoot issues, unblock stakeholders, and keep deals on track.
Ideal Experience
- Background in finance, M&A, private equity, or investment banking, or experience in a similar analytical and transaction-focused role.
- Strong ability to manage multiple complex workstreams at once while staying organized and focused on priorities.
- Comfort working with financial and valuation models and reviewing analytical outputs.
- Clear and confident communication skills when working with executives, clients, investors, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail paired with sound judgment in fast-moving situations.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem solving in dynamic deal environments.
You Should Have
- Experience supporting transactions, deal execution, or project-based financial work in a professional setting.
- Proven ability to manage documentation, track tasks, and maintain quality control across deliverables.
- Exposure to deal environments such as investment banking, consulting, Big 4, or transaction advisory is an asset.
- A self-starter mindset with initiative to anticipate needs, take ownership, and improve how work gets done.
What We Offer
- A chance to sit close to live deals and work directly alongside the lead Deal Maker.
- Hands-on involvement across sourcing, diligence, LOI execution, and closing.
- Real opportunities for growth as the firm scales and responsibilities expand.
- Fully remote work so you can contribute from anywhere.
- A collaborative team environment where your contributions have clear visibility.
