About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on BI Developer Lead with expertise in Looker and Power BI to join our Data Lake team. You will lead a Tableau-to-Looker migration, develop LookML models, build interactive dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical development and consulting/project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration project from Tableau to Looker.
- Develop and maintain LookML models, dashboards, and reports.
- Build Power BI dashboards, apps, and data models using DAX, Power Query, and M Language.
- Work with MSSQL, Postgres, NoSQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
- Troubleshoot and debug BI solutions to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years in data analytics/BI development.
- Strong expertise in Looker, LookML, Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query.
- Experience in Tableau-to-Looker migrations is a plus.
- Experience working in a multinational company.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals or Warehouse Distribution industries.
- Familiarity with BI governance, data security, and cloud analytics (Azure/GCP).
