Job Description:
Looking for a highly analytical and driven Associate to lead claims and disputes management across the team. This role will own end-to-end validation of disputed orders from 3PL partners, ensure billing accuracy, and drive resolution across multiple stakeholders.
The role requires strong ownership, stakeholder management, and the ability to identify gaps and implement process improvements to minimize financial exposure and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Claims Ownership
- Lead validation of disputed claims from 3PLs using internal systems, historical billing, and escalation records
- Assess claim validity and ensure alignment with company policies and contractual agreements
- Handle complex and high-value disputes, including escalations
- Billing, Reconciliation & Exposure Management
- Oversee reconciliation of claims against billing reports and account receivables
- Ensure accurate settlement and proactively identify risks or discrepancies
- Drive initiatives to reduce write-offs and financial exposure
- Stakeholder & SLA Management
- Act as the main point of contact for claims-related topics across Operations, Finance (FinOps), Customer Service, Return and Refund, Fraud, and Cross-border teams
- Manage and enforce SLAs for validation and resolution timelines
- Align processes and ensure accountability across stakeholders
- Process Optimization & Governance
- Identify gaps in current claims workflows and implement scalable solutions
- Standardize validation frameworks, audit mechanisms, and reporting structures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with internal and external partners
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze claims trends, root causes, and performance metrics
- Build and maintain dashboards or trackers for monitoring
- Provide insights and recommendations to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, e-commerce, finance operations, or claims/disputes management
- Strong experience working with 3PLs and handling disputes or billing validation
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle complex issues and drive resolution independently
- Experience in e-commerce or a high-volume operations environment
- Background in finance operations, audit, or reconciliation
- Experience in process improvement or project management
