Ritual Matcha Co. imports and distributes high-quality matcha from Japan for bulk and wholesale customers. The company primarily serves foodservice businesses such as cafés, restaurants. The company also supports matcha brands through white-labeling solutions.

Role Description

The Logistics Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila. This role is an opportunity to run the dispatch operation behind a fast-growing wholesale business, where every order needs to go out complete, accurate, and on time.

Your role would include the following:

Plan and run daily dispatch for Metro Manila and nationwide orders, assigning orders to riders and couriers based on location, urgency, and cost
Monitor order status from payment to delivery, and resolve delayed, incomplete, or incorrect orders before they reach the client
Plan and optimize Metro Manila delivery routes to maximize drops per trip
Track fulfillment costs per order, including courier fees, rider trips, and packaging
Manage rates and relationships with third-party couriers, and follow up on lost, damaged, or delayed shipments
Supervise the Fulfillment team and make sure picking, packing, and booking follow our SOPs
Report weekly on dispatch lead time, order accuracy, and fulfillment cost, and keep dispatch, delivery, and returns SOPs up to date

Qualifications

Has supervised logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations, preferably in distribution or e-commerce
Comfortable with numbers: tracking costs, comparing courier rates, and spotting where money is being lost
Calm under pressure and able to re-plan the day when orders, riders, or couriers change at short notice
Detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems before they arise
Effective and empathetic communicator with partners, contractors, and internal teams
Comfortable using Shopify and Excel/Google Sheets, and willing to learn new tools as needed
Familiarity with Metro Manila routes and courier platforms is an advantage
