Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Cagayan De Oro City, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. This role coordinates daily transportation activities, including booking and tracking shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring on-time pickup and delivery. The Logistics Specialist communicates with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, provide status updates, and maintain high service standards. Responsibilities include monitoring shipment performance, analyzing logistics data, and supporting continuous improvement of processes and systems. The role also involves assisting with export requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting supply chain optimization initiatives across different modes of transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance metrics, and support process improvements.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Export procedures, including documentation, compliance, and coordination of international shipments.
- Proficiency with logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and common office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, collaboration platforms).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for handling exceptions, service disruptions, and shipment issues.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations; a diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage.
