The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products. The role ensures timely delivery, accurate inventory control, and cost-effective logistics operations while maintaining strong coordination with internal teams, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipments
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to warehouses, dealers, and customers
  • Track shipments and resolve delays or issues proactively

Warehouse & Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse teams on stock receiving, storage, and dispatch
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records
  • Support stock replenishment planning and minimize stock discrepancies

Transportation & Delivery Management

  • Coordinate with transport providers and 3PL partners for delivery scheduling
  • Optimize routes and delivery timelines to ensure operational efficiency
  • Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements when needed

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and process logistics documents such as delivery receipts, invoices, and shipment records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics records and reports

Cost Monitoring & Process Improvement

  • Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels
  • Support initiatives for warehouse and delivery optimization

6Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
  • Provide updates on delivery status and address logistics-related concerns
  • Support logistics requirements for new projects, expansions, or campaigns

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or appliance industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, and distribution processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NERP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Willing to travel or visit warehouse sites if required
