The Warehousing Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, material flow, storage, shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel performance. The role ensures operational excellence, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and service delivery while supporting business objectives and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Monitor warehouse performance to ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and operational requirements.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  
  

Inventory Management

• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Review and approve inventory adjustments, inventory variance investigations, and inventory disposal activities.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor material movement and address inventory discrepancies proactively.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and warehouse personnel.
• Allocate resources and balance workloads to meet operational demands.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety.
  
  

Third-Party Logistics (3PL) / Contractor Management

• Manage warehouse contractors and logistics service providers.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and performance evaluations.
• Address service gaps and implement corrective actions with partners.
• Ensure contractors meet service-level agreements, safety, and quality standards.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Import & Export, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams.
• Resolve warehouse-related operational issues and support business continuity.
• Participate in supply chain improvement initiatives and warehouse optimization projects.
  
  

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment through regular inspections and training.
• Support quality management initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
