Role Overview
The Logistics & Freight Coordinator will support day-to-day transportation and shipment execution across U.S. and Canadian operations, with a strong focus on freight coordination, shipment tracking, warehouse communication, and delivery management.
This is a highly operational role requiring someone who can manage multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining excellent organization, proactive communication, and strong documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Freight Coordination & Shipment Execution
- Coordinate and schedule LTL and FTL shipments across the U.S. and Canada
- Request, compare, and manage freight quotes from carriers and logistics providers
- Book transportation shipments and manage shipment scheduling from origin to final delivery
- Coordinate dock appointments and receiving schedules with warehouses and fulfillment centers
- Track shipments proactively and follow up on delays, routing issues, missed appointments, or delivery exceptions
- Maintain clear shipment visibility and accurate status updates across active freight movements
- Communicate daily with carriers, freight brokers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely execution
Shipment Documentation & Logistics Administration
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation including:
- Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- packing slips
- shipment labels
- commercial invoices
- customs-related documentation
- Maintain organized digital shipment records and freight documentation using Google Drive and shared systems
- Update shipment trackers, freight logs, and operational dashboards accurately
- Ensure shipment compliance with customer, retailer, and marketplace requirements
- Support inventory movement coordination between facilities as needed
Warehouse & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate closely with warehouse teams to ensure shipments are packed, labeled, and dispatched correctly
- Provide shipment updates to internal operations, sales, and customer support teams
- Assist in resolving shipment issues including delays, damages, shortages, or misrouted freight
- Monitor delivery timelines and proactively escalate operational issues before they impact customers or inventory flow
- Support ongoing logistics process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Marketplace & Fulfillment Coordination
- Support shipment coordination related to Amazon FBA, Walmart, and other fulfillment channels
- Monitor receiving status, delivery windows, and shipment compliance requirements
- Coordinate shipment preparation and label distribution to fulfillment facilities
- Assist with maintaining smooth inventory flow into marketplace fulfillment networks
Required Skills & Experience
Hard Skills
- 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight operations, transportation, shipping, or supply chain support
- Hands-on experience coordinating LTL and FTL freight shipments
- Experience working with carriers, freight brokers, warehouses, or 3PL providers
- Strong understanding of shipment tracking and transportation workflows
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Drive
- Experience using logistics, shipping, ERP, or transportation management software
- Familiarity with Amazon FBA or marketplace logistics is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required
