Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to the Logistics Team Leader in overseeing transport, delivery, and fleet operations. The role is responsible for coordinating activities across the Delivery and Fleet Management groups, consolidating operational performance data, managing client concerns, supporting process improvement initiatives, and maintaining operational procedures and systems. The position serves as a central coordination point to ensure alignment between operational execution, customer requirements, and company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the Logistics Team Leader in monitoring daily logistics, delivery, and fleet operations, while coordinating activities between Delivery and Fleet Management groups to ensure efficient service execution.
Monitor operational performance, escalate issues requiring management intervention, and assist in implementing operational plans, programs, and initiatives.
Coordinate with client counterparts regarding operational concerns, service requirements, and performance issues, while ensuring timely communication of service updates and developments.
Consolidate and maintain operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, identify gaps against targets, and prepare performance reports, dashboards, and management updates.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, service quality, and cost performance, and support process improvement and operational enhancement initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and evaluate operational improvement opportunities through data analysis and cost-benefit assessment.
Assist in maintaining SOPs, work instructions, policies, and operational guidelines; support operational systems and controls; prepare reports and documentation; monitor action items; and perform other duties and special projects assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
At least 4-6 years of experience in logistics, transport, fleet, or delivery operations.
Experience in KPI management, client coordination, operational reporting, and process improvement is preferred.
Strong knowledge of transport and logistics operations, performance management, and business processes.
Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word, email).
