LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

This role serves as a critical function in overseeing the seamless flow of both raw materials and finished goods, ensuring their timely and cost-effective delivery. Join our Awesome CX by Transcom Family as a Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data and update shipment status into multiple locations, including Smartsheet, NetSuite, and email platforms.
  • Coordinate with Buyers, Inventory deployment, Quality Control, Contract Manufacturers, and Warehouse team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Work directly with carriers, forwarders and third-party services to book inland, air & ocean shipments, following approved business rules. Ensure that customer-directed shipments follow their route guidelines
  • Advise internal and external customers regarding the delivery status, track shipments, issue ASNs and supporting documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and support month-end reporting activities
  • Ability to work independently, manage repetitive operational tasks efficiently and timely, and maintain a high level of attention to details.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Shipment Coordination & Execution:

  • Prepare and send the shipping documents for all channels once shipments are ready for pickup
  • Basic math knowledge: converting pounds to kgs and foreign currency to $USD
  • Track shipments from pickup to delivery, monitor associated costs and report abnormal as necessary
  • Identify shipment delays and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to determine root cause and solutions

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must have...

  • 1+ years working in international logistics or other relevant business experience
  • New graduates with relevant majors(international business,supply chain management and business management etc. are welcome to apply)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new things.
  • Team player, independent and motivated, with a sense of urgency and customer-centric nature
