The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, quality, and safety. This role supports the Site Head by managing and directing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads strategic improvements and establishes sustainable practices to enhance inventory accuracy and control.
- Oversees warehouse design, systems, capacity planning, and overall distribution center performance.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with quality management and safety, health, and environment (SHE) objectives.
- Enhances transportation efficiency through effective fleet or vessel utilization, MRP approvals, and performance monitoring (e.g., OTIF, fill rate).
- Designs and implements capability-building programs for logistics and transportation teams.
- Manages and improves third-party logistics (3PL) performance by strengthening methodologies, enforcing SLAs, optimizing turnaround time, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
- Controls logistics costs through system optimization and detailed cost-benefit analyses.
- Leads business continuity planning (BCP), risk mitigation strategies, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse facilities, adherence to housekeeping standards, and execution of audits and improvement projects.
- Upholds food safety and EHS standards while developing organizational capability through training, succession planning, and individual development plans (IDPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Proven background in third-party/vendor management, preferably within a principal company.
- Strong expertise in project management, stakeholder collaboration, financial management, and audit-related functions.
- Solid knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics, supply chain operations, warehouse management, and distribution systems.
- Willing to work on a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
