Position Overview
The AVP for Logistics and Supply Chain Operations will oversee the company's distribution, logistics, and inventory functions, ensuring efficient supply chain execution and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership experience within fast-moving retail, FMCG, or e-commerce operations and a proven ability to manage large-scale logistics and fulfillment networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution center operations
- Ensure efficient transportation, dispatch, fulfillment, and inventory movement processes
- Develop strategies to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and supply chain efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels, stock aging, shrinkage, and replenishment performance
- Lead inventory audits, stock counts, and reconciliation activities across operations
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, commercial, and warehouse teams to support operational requirements
- Drive process enhancement initiatives focused on operational optimization and cost control
- Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs and operational performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and audit requirements
- Lead and mentor operations teams while promoting a high-performance culture
- Generate operational reports and business insights for executive management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or related course
- Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, inventory operations, and supply chain leadership
- Background in Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, or large-scale distribution operations
- Strong experience handling logistics-heavy operations and nationwide distribution
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, ERP platforms, and inventory management tools
- Strong leadership, analytical, and operational management skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Exposure to process improvement and operational transformation initiatives preferred
