The
Logistics Process and Systems Supervisor plays a critical role in driving efficiency, compliance, and process excellence within logistics operations. This role supervises system and process improvements, ensures regulatory alignment, supports internal and external audits, and leads cross-functional coordination with frontline staff and quality teams. The supervisor fosters a continuous improvement culture through
data analysis, project execution, and documentation leadership.
II. Duties And Responsibilities
- Process Optimization and Monitoring
- Monitoring logistics workflows for process improvement.
- Oversees resource allocation strategies to enhance operational throughput.
- Conducts time studies and process reviews across sections.
- Project Management
- Manages logistics initiatives from definition to implementation and handover.
- Maintains accomplishment reports and updates stakeholders on ongoing project statuses.
- Oversees special projects to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Audit Compliance and Regulatory Support
- Acts as lead auditee in internal and external audits, including FSSC and HALAL.
- Coordinates and assists related departments during compliance assessments.
- Participates in core logistics meetings.
- Staff Coordination and Training
- Participates daily alignment meetings with forklift operators to review operational concerns.
- Participates Internal trainings.
- Participates weekly 3P meetings to sync efforts between Production, Planning and Procurement.
- Issue Resolution and Complaint Management
- Investigates and resolves issues across various logistics sections and departments
- Documentation Oversight
- Reviews, creates, and revises Work Instructions (WI), SOPs and documented information.
- Prepares and submits FSSC reports.
- Ensures all systems and procedures are clearly documented and accessible.
- Other Responsibilities
- Performs additional responsibilities as delegated by logistics manager
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of BS Industrial Engineer or any science related courses.
- Experience:
- 3- 5 years relevant experience in food manufacturing, analytical, self-motivated, can interact with people in all levels of the organization, can work with minimal supervision, computer literate and can work extended hours
- Training/ Seminar required:
- All food manufacturing seminars and training related to food safety, quality processes and warehousing
