About You & the Role
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build a career in banking operations We're looking for a Loans Trainee to join our Consumer Loans team and gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end processing of housing loan transactions.
In this role, you'll help ensure that loan payments, account bookings, and related transactions are processed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with different business units while developing valuable knowledge of bank operations, loan systems, and financial documentation.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Loans Trainee, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Processing and posting housing loan payment transactions accurately.
- Reviewing and validating payment instructions and supporting documents.
- Assisting in the booking and setup of new housing loan accounts.
- Checking Loan Release Requests (LRRs) and ensuring document completeness.
- Preparing invoices and monitoring payment-related transactions.
- Maintaining organized records and documentation.
- Supporting end-of-day reconciliation, balancing, and reporting activities.
- Coordinating with internal business units to resolve transaction discrepancies.
- Assisting with other operational and administrative tasks that support the department's goals.

Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
- A bachelor's degree in any business-related course.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to learn banking operations and develop a career in the financial services industry.
