Loan Services Associate

As a Loans Services Associate, the successful candidate will processes loan applications, verifies financial documents, and manages client relationships to ensure accurate, compliant lending. They assess creditworthiness, calculate loan terms, and often drive sales by promoting financial products. This role is essential for maintaining portfolio quality through diligent, detailed documentation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Processing: Reviewing loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending regulations.
• Credit Assessment: Analyzing applicant financial information, credit history, and income to calculate risks and suitable loan terms.
• Customer Service: Acting as the primary point of contact for borrowers, answering queries, and guiding them through the application process.
• Document Management: Preparing, organizing, and tracking loan documents, ensuring all required signatures and paperwork are secured.
• Sales & Relationship Management: Promoting banking products (e.g., housing or personal loans) and building relationships with clients to generate new business.
• Loan Servicing: Monitoring payments, assisting in collections, and ensuring accurate, detailed records are maintained.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is often preferred, though some roles accept high school diplomas with relevant experience.
• Experience: Previous experience in banking, finance, or customer service is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and specialized loan software.
