As a Loan Origination Associate - Transformation & Automation within Manila operations, you will partner with Loan Origination stakeholders across Loan Documentation, Credit Coordination, and Loan Setup & Funding to identify automation opportunities and translate operational needs into clear requirements and user stories.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with Loan Origination stakeholders acrossLoan Documentation, Credit Coordination, and Loan Setup & Fundingto identify automation opportunities and translate operational needs into clear requirements and user stories.
- Map current-state and target-state workflows (handoffs, exceptions, approvals, data dependencies, and controls) to reduce manual touchpoints and improve end-to-end throughput.
- Deliver automation initiatives end-to-end as anindividual contributor, including discovery, requirements, solution design, build/configuration, testing/UAT support, deployment, hypercare, and ongoing enhancements-while adhering to firm standards, governance, and controls.
Create, develop, and enhance business solutions using firm-approved low-code, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools (e.g., LLM Suite, Alteryx, UiPath, Power Automate, Tableau, or similar platforms) to streamline processes, automate tasks, orchestrate workflows, improve data quality, and deliver operational reporting, dashboarding, and KPI insights.
- Automate and digitize origination activities such as booking/setup readiness checks, funding readiness tracking, document/package status visibility, credit approval/conditions coordination, exception follow-ups, and standardized reporting.
- Embedcontrols-by-designby implementing validations, approvals, exception management, audit evidence capture, and monitoring to strengthen operational risk management and improve first-time-right performance.
- Collaborate with Technology and control partners to align on access, data connectivity, infrastructure, release/change practices, and production support expectations.
- Define, track, and communicateOKRs/KPIsand realized benefits (e.g., capacity creation, cycle time reduction, reduced rework/exceptions, improved data quality, fewer control breaks, improved on-time funding).
- Create and maintain documentation and reusable assets (process maps, requirements, SOPs, test scripts, runbooks, training materials) to support adoption, resiliency, and knowledge transfer within Manila operations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of experiencein loan operations, loan origination/closing, credit coordination, loan documentation, loan setup/booking, funding support, and/or operations automation/business analysis within financial services.
- Demonstrated ability toanalyze complex operational processes and data, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations with a clear risk/control lens.
- Working knowledge ofautomation delivery practices(requirements, design, testing, deployment, change discipline) and basic software development principles.
- Hands-on experience usingone or more firm-approved low-code / automation / analytics tools(e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, Power Automate, Tableau, and other applicable platforms).
- Intermediate proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to produce analysis, reporting, and stakeholder-ready materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across operations, technology, and global stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding ofend-to-end commercial lending originationand common drivers of exceptions (documentation quality, condition tracking, booking accuracy, funding readiness).
- Experience with process improvement methods (Lean fundamentals), controls-by-design, and operational risk mindset.
Experience producing delivery artifacts (user stories, process maps, solution design notes, test scripts, deployment/checklist runbooks, and post-release monitoring).
