Job Summary:
Join our team as a
Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) specialized in supporting U.S. Mortgage Company operations. We are in search of a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of working effectively under tight deadlines. In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) and other key personnel to facilitate a seamless, compliant, and efficient mortgage loan origination process. Your scope of work will span from administrative duties to in-depth client engagement, all aimed at ensuring a smooth and timely loan application and approval process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to MLOs, streamlining day-to-day operations and workflow efficiency.
- Meticulously maintain client data and files for easy retrieval and compliance, ensuring a secure and organized database.
- Monitor MLO pipelines and closing reports to ensure all loans progress according to schedule and meet strict deadlines.
- Develop and track financial objectives, aligning them with current loan data to forecast performance metrics.
- Address client queries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner, acting as the intermediary between clients and MLOs.
- Follow up with clients to ensure the timely submission of required documentation, expediting the loan process.
- Build and nurture relationships among MLOs, customers, real estate agents, and other key stakeholders to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Oversee Interest Rate Locks, preventing lapses and ensuring advantageous rates for clients.
- Coordinate MLO continuing education and compliance requirements, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base within the team.
- Field incoming calls, manage message-taking, and schedule appointments, ensuring optimal time management for MLOs.
- Keep MLOs abreast of industry updates by encouraging participation in webinars and conference calls.
- Offer computer and email support during periods when MLOs are unavailable, maintaining uninterrupted communication flows.
- Distribute sales meeting resources and tools to MLOs, keeping the team prepared and informed.
- Assess and address MLO training needs as required, ensuring a high standard of expertise within the team.
- Perform other duties as directed to support loan origination activities, adapting to needs as they arise.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions within the legal framework.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills within a legal context.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adhering to legal language standards.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant legal software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Previous experience in legal assistance, loan processing, or banking, with a focus on legal compliance, is preferred.
