The Role
The Loan Admin Associate is responsible for the administrative management of the credit department's daily operations. This role ensures the accurate processing, evaluation, and management of credit applications for business clients. The position requires the maintenance of compliance with company policies and regulatory standards to facilitate accurate lending decisions. The Loan Admin coordinates with internal teams to ensure an efficient credit process.
Responsibilities
Loan Disbursement Readiness & Checklist Management
- Prepare and manage detailed loan disbursement checklists to ensure all documentary, legal, and internal approval requirements are fully satisfied prior to release of funds.
Document Coordination & Compliance Validation
- Proactively coordinate with internal teams and clients to obtain missing or incomplete documents, ensuring loan files comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Loan Documentation & Legal Filing
- Process, organize, and file loan agreements, promissory notes, security documents, and related legal records, ensuring accurate execution, completeness, and secure record-keeping.
Loan Management System (LMS)
- Accurately encode, update, and maintain loan data in the Loan Management System, ensuring consistency between approved credit terms, legal documents, and system records.
Operational Support to Credit & Operations Teams
- Act as a key administrative support function to Credit, Operations, and Finance teams by maintaining organized loan files, tracking documentation status, and supporting smooth loan booking and post-disbursement processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 1–2 years experience in loan processing or banking (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of loan documentation and credit processes.
- Familiar with CIC, NFIS, and credit checks (or willing to learn).
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and digital filing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
