Reporting to the Learning Strategist, the LMS Administrator has strong expertise in Docebo LMS administration to support the design, development, and delivery of high-quality learning experiences. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency in LMS administration with a solid understanding of instructional design principles, enabling seamless execution of learning programs across a global workforce.
The LMS Administrator is accountable for ensuring the effective operation, optimization, and governance of the Docebo LMS so that global learning programs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a high quality learner experience.
Core Duties by Competency:
Responsible
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Docebo LMS, including user management, course setup, catalogs, certifications, and learning plans. Focus on managing and maintaining the learning management system, including user and course setup, content testing and troubleshooting, and configuring workflows and reporting tools. Additional tasks include collaborating with instructional designers for course structure and quality assurance, leveraging features like social learning and gamification to enhance engagement, conducting regular UX audits, generating and analyzing reports, providing actionable insights, and supporting stakeholders with data-driven decisions. Finally, the position requires working closely with various teams, offering training and support, and serving as a point of contact for LMS-related issues.
Accountable
- This role is accountable for the end-to-end administration and optimization of a Learning Management System (LMS). The position involves uploading, testing, and troubleshooting a variety of learning content formats, while configuring workflows, notifications, and reporting dashboards to keep the system running smoothly. The administrator monitors system performance and learner analytics, ensures data integrity and compliance, and continuously works to improve the overall user experience through intuitive design, accessibility enhancements, and regular UX audits. A key focus of the role is driving learner engagement by leveraging LMS features such as social learning and gamification. The position also involves close collaboration with instructional designers, global L&D teams, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to implement course structures, conduct QA reviews, generate insightful reports, and serve as the primary point of contact for system-related issues.

LMS Administration & Optimization (Docebo)
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Docebo LMS (users, courses, catalogs, certifications, learning plans)
- Manage enrollments, permissions, and organizational structure within the LMS
- Upload, test, and troubleshoot learning content (SCORM, xAPI, videos, documents)
- Configure automated workflows, notifications, and reporting dashboards
- Monitor LMS performance and learner analytics; recommend improvements
- Ensure system data integrity, governance, and compliance with internal policies
LMS User Experience and Continuous Improvement
- Optimize the learner experience within the Docebo LMS by improving navigation, usability, and accessibility
- Design and maintain intuitive page layouts, catalogs, and channels to support ease of use and discovery
- Leverage Docebo features (e.g., social learning, gamification) to increase learner engagement
- Conduct regular UX audits and usability testing to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement
Instructional Design Support
- Partner with instructional designers to implement course structures within the LMS
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews on courses before launch
- Recommend learning technologies and features to enhance engagement (e.g., social learning, gamification)
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and analyze LMS reports on learner progress, completion rates, and engagement
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve learning effectiveness
- Support stakeholders with data-driven decision-making
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with global L&D teams, SMEs, and business stakeholders
- Provide LMS training and support to internal users and administrators
- Act as a point of contact for LMS-related inquiries and issue resolution
Qualifications & Experience (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in LMS administration, with strong expertise in Docebo
- Familiarity with SCORM and xAPI standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal for a global audience)
- Basic graphic design and multimedia editing skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience supporting global or cross-cultural learning programs
- Experience designing and developing engaging e-learning courses, microlearning, and performance support tools
- Experience assisting in the creation of interactive content, simulations, case studies, assessments, and scenario-based learning
- Experience producing visually compelling graphics and learning assets
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360 suite)
