Job Overview
Our client is looking for a dedicated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to support personal injury attorneys through all phases of the pre-litigation process. This remote position reports directly to firm attorneys and focuses exclusively on firm deliverables following provided SOPs and training materials.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Support personal injury attorneys through all phases of the pre-litigation process, including case intake and documentation
- Organize and manage case files to ensure timely progression toward resolution or litigation
- Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients to gather necessary documentation
- Draft and prepare demand letters, medical record requests, and other pre-litigation correspondence
- Track critical deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to keep cases moving forward
Requirements
- Prior experience in personal injury pre-litigation support or a similar legal support role
- High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Familiarity with legal terminology and personal injury case workflows
