Job Description
As a Linux Operations Engineer, you will spend your day investigating and resolving issues that arise within various critical business systems. Your role involves monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation across multiple software components. You will interact with different teams to maintain system stability and contribute to continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that business processes are supported effectively and efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues promptly.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall expertise.
Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce incident recurrence.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Linux.
Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
Experience with shell scripting and automation to streamline support tasks.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis to proactively identify system issues.
Knowledge of networking concepts and their application in system support.
Ability to work with configuration management and deployment tools to maintain system consistency.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux.
This position is based at our Manila office.
