We are looking for a reliable and well-spoken LinkedIn Engagement Specialist to take ownership of an active personal LinkedIn presence. You will manage the day-to-day engagement on the account — replying to comments on published posts, commenting thoughtfully on relevant content from others, and handling conversations that come through the inbox. There is also scope to take on outreach as the role develops. This suits someone with excellent written English, sound judgment, and complete discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take day-to-day ownership of an active LinkedIn account and keep engagement consistent
- Reply to comments left on published posts in a timely, considered way
- Write thoughtful, relevant comments on posts from other people to build visibility and start conversations
- Monitor the LinkedIn inbox and respond to direct messages appropriately
- Maintain the account holder's established voice and tone in every reply and comment
- Identify conversations showing genuine interest and flag them for follow-up
- Conduct outreach, including connection requests and opening messages, as the role expands
- Escalate sensitive, unusual, or high-value conversations rather than responding independently
- Keep engagement activity organized so nothing goes unanswered
- Handle account access and private conversations with complete confidentiality
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent written English — native or near-native fluency, with strong grammar, natural phrasing, and tone control
- Ability to write original, genuine-sounding comments and replies from scratch
- Strong reading comprehension and the ability to understand context before responding
- Sound judgment about what to say, what to escalate, and what to leave alone
- Absolute discretion and professionalism when handling account access and private conversations
- Confident navigating LinkedIn messaging, comments, connections, and feed
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and consistent responsiveness
- Stable, high-speed internet connection and a consistent, distraction-free work setup
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience managing a LinkedIn account or social media presence on behalf of someone else
- Experience writing in another person's voice or following brand tone guidelines
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional networking and business development platform
- Experience with outreach, social selling, or connection-building
- Ability to recognize buying signals or genuine interest in written conversations
- Background in customer support, sales support, copywriting, or community management
- Comfort working consistently across repetitive daily tasks without losing quality
