Job Description:- Responsible for prep work and cooking of food items.
- Responsible for plating of meals, salads and desserts.
- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of work area.
- Must monitor inventory at all times and report items below par.
- Place labels and sign all prep products.
- Responsible for receiving stocks.
- Responsible for receiving incoming food orders and rotating stock.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean uniform.
- Communicate ticket time and potential problem with servers, kitchen staff and managers.
- Adhere to product recipes and plate presentation.
- Ensure that all prepared food meets company standard of excellence.
- Must follow food handling and sanitation procedures to control food cost.
- Assist other line chef if necessary.
- Perform other duties and task as requested.
Requirements and Skills:
- Resume and proven working experience as a Line Cook/Chef de Partie.
- At least 4-5 years of Line Cook experience in a hotel/fine dining restaurant.
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the back of house organized, clean and customers in order
- Relevant training certificate (if any)
