We're growing our Underwriting team and are looking for experienced Life Underwriters to join us onsite in Alabang.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate life insurance applications and determine risk acceptability based on medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle factors
• Apply underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures to make sound risk decisions
• Assess whether to accept, modify, rate, postpone, or decline risks
• Communicate underwriting decisions clearly and professionally
• Gather and analyze information necessary for case assessment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve underwriting processes and customer experience
• Work independently while maintaining quality, productivity, and mortality objectives
• Contribute ideas to enhance underwriting efficiency and innovation

What We're Looking For:

Mid-Level Life Underwriter

• 3 to 5 years of Life/Health Underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of medical, non-medical, and financial risk assessment
• Experience underwriting term and permanent life insurance products
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, collaborative, and agile mindset

Senior Life Underwriter

• 5 to 7+ years of Life/Health Underwriting experience
• Advanced knowledge of risk selection across medical, non-medical, and financial underwriting
• Experience handling complex cases and making independent underwriting decisions
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Experience underwriting term and permanent life insurance products
• Ability to influence process improvements and mentor junior team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry designations in progress or completed:
• LOMA
• ALMI
• FLMI/FMLI
• ALU
• FALU
