Job Summary
The Licensed Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, maintaining proper inventory management, overseeing warehouse operations, and supporting the companys regulatory and operational requirements. The role involves monitoring the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products while ensuring compliance with FDA standards and company policies. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in community and distribution pharmacy operations, warehouse management, and LTO preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Regulatory And Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and pharmaceutical standards.
- Assist in the preparation, renewal, and maintenance of License to Operate (LTO) and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor proper documentation and record-keeping related to pharmaceutical operations.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure readiness for inspections and audits.
Inventory And Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory monitoring, stock control, and proper documentation of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of medicines and medical products.
- Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and product movements to prevent losses and shortages.
- Support warehouse set-up, organization, and implementation of proper inventory systems.
Operational Support
- Supervise the receiving, releasing, and dispatching of products in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution and Storage Practices (GDSP).
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and other departments regarding inventory and distribution concerns.
- Prepare inventory and operational reports as required by management.
Other Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance related to pharmaceutical operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for warehouse and inventory management.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist.
- At least 35 years of work experience as a Company Pharmacist in community and distribution set-up.
- Knowledgeable in FDA regulations, LTO preparation, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Good Distribution and Storage Practices (GDSP).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Cebu City
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational responsibilities.
