Job Summary
A Licensed Pharmacist in a pharmaceutical company supports drug development, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and product safety. This role ensures that all pharmaceutical products meet standards set by regulatory bodies such as the Food and Drug Administration and aligns with company policies and global guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards
- Assist in product registration, licensing, and documentation submission
- Review and approve product labels, packaging, and inserts
- Monitor drug safety and report adverse drug reactions (pharmacovigilance)
- Support quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes
- Collaborate with research and development (R&D) teams on product formulation and testing
- Maintain proper documentation in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Conduct internal audits and assist during regulatory inspections
- Provide technical support to marketing and sales teams regarding product information
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
- Active license from the Professional Regulation Commission
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry (preferred but not always required)
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
