Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cebu.. The Licensed Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to patient records for billing and compliance purposes. Daily tasks include reviewing medical documentation, ensuring compliance with coding regulations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory changes. The role ensures that coding accuracy and efficiency support both operational excellence and timely revenue cycle management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Coding and familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Experience in Health Information Management and solid Coding Experience
- Possession of RHIT certification is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical billing regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus
