About Us

Amia Spa & Massage is a new massage and spa in the Philippines, focused on high-quality, restorative treatments. We have multiple locations scheduled to open across Manila and Cebu. Our menu includes full body massages, express massages, and facial treatments. We're building a skilled, supportive team and looking for an experienced therapist to help set our standard of care.

The Role

We're seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist with extensive hands-on experience to deliver exceptional treatments and help train and mentor our growing team. You'll shape technique standards, guest experience, and team development from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Provide full body and express massage treatments to a high standard
• Perform facial add-on treatments (training provided on our protocols)
• Train and mentor other therapists on technique, pressure, sequencing, and client care
• Help develop and refine treatment protocols and service standards
• Maintain a clean, calm, hygienic treatment environment
• Consult with guests to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments

Requirements

• Valid massage therapy license/certification in the Philippines (TESDA NC II or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 years of professional massage therapy experience
• Comfortable training, coaching, or mentoring other therapists
• Proficiency in multiple modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, Shiatsu, hilot, Lomi Lomi)
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Professional, reliable, and punctual

Nice to Have

• Prior experience as a lead therapist, trainer, or spa supervisor
• Experience with facial massage, gua sha, or other facial tools
• Conversational English and Filipino/Tagalog
