Reports To: Sales Manager

We're looking for a License Compliance Specialist Sales to help companies stay compliant while driving business growth through licensing solutions.

What You'll Do

Compliance & Audit Management

Conduct licensing compliance reviews, assessments, and audits.

Analyze customer usage vs. contractual entitlements to identify gaps or unauthorized use.

Educate customers on licensing requirements and compliance risks.

Present audit findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.

Sales & Revenue Generation

Convert compliance findings into sales opportunities through recommended licensing solutions or upgrades.

Prepare proposals, quotations, and tailored licensing packages.

Support renewals, upsells, and strategic account growth.

Negotiate mutually beneficial remediation agreements.

Data & Reporting

Track compliance metrics, revenue impact, and customer trends.

Update leadership on audit outcomes and sales conversions.

Ensure accurate and timely CRM and compliance system data entry.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field.

25 years experience in sales, licensing, compliance, or audit roles.

Strong understanding of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS, user/device-based).

Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in software licensing compliance (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Autodesk, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience in data analysis, audit reporting, or contract interpretation.
