Job Description

EDUCATION

  • Doctor of Medicine Degree.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least Five (5) years of relevant experience in occupational health, corporate healthcare, clinical services, medical operations, clinic/laboratory operations, employee health programs, or healthcare service delivery.
  • Preferably with at least five (5) years of leadership experience managing physicians, nurses, clinical/dental/laboratory personnel, healthcare providers, or multi-site clinic operations.
  • Experience in managing annual physical examinations, pre-employment medical examinations, patient referral and case monitoring, medical records, healthcare compliance, and clinic/laboratory supplies and equipment is preferred.
  • Experience in budget management, vendor/provider coordination, service performance monitoring, and cross-functional stakeholder management is preferred.

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage implementation of Company medical programs and initiatives.
  • Manage the operation of PLDT-owned clinics and laboratories.
  • Manage provisioning of on-site medical and dental services, including consultations and treatments.
  • Track outcomes of patients referred to accredited hospitals or other healthcare providers, from diagnosis to referral, treatment and recovery.
  • Maintain medical records and write patient progress notes on procedures, treatment and patient care.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient administration of annual physical examinations for regular employees and pre-employment physical examinations for prospective employees.
  • Manage nursing services performed under the direction of the Company physician for diagnostic/treatment procedures and implementation of medical programs.
  • Manage medical tools and equipment preparation, clean-up, request processing, issuance and consumption records for clinical and dental operations.
  • Manage recording of Letter of Authority (LOA) I, II, III, PLD 92 and Yellow Prescriptions.
  • Oversee laboratory services such as Clinical Microscopy, Hematologic Examinations, X-Ray, Ultrasound and Electrocardiogram.
  • Initiate request processing and record issuance/consumption of supplies and medical tools/equipment for Company-owned laboratory services.
  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned from time to time as required by the superior related to the above items.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the budget, performance and results of the division.
  • Exercise management authority including setting employee performance objectives, recommending pay actions and conducting performance reviews, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.
  • Address issues with impact beyond own division based on knowledge of related disciplines.
