Job Summary
The Liability Product and Alternative Channels Head is responsible for driving growth and profitability of deposit products and expanding alternative distribution channels. The role oversees product development, channel strategy, and revenue performance across branch-lite and non-traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for deposit (liability) products
- Drive CASA growth, deposit mix optimization, and cost of funds management
- Lead alternative channel expansion (agent banking, partnerships, digital onboarding, etc.)
- Oversee product design, pricing, and profitability
- Collaborate with Sales, Digital, and Operations teams to maximize distribution
- Monitor portfolio performance and market competitiveness
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management adherence
- Lead and build a strong product and channel management team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in liability product management or retail banking
- Strong understanding of deposit products, pricing strategy, and cost of funds
- Experience in alternative distribution channels or digital banking is an advantage
- Proven leadership and P&L management experience
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills
