Legal Virtual Assistant (US Immigration) – Full-Time
Starting Salary: Php 45,000
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with employment-based immigration cases from intake through case completion.
- Prepare, organize, and review immigration forms, supporting documents, and case materials.
- Assist with E Visa, H Visa, and L Visa petitions and applications.
- Support Employment-Based Adjustment of Status (AOS) cases.
- Prepare case filings and ensure documents are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
- Track case deadlines, filing dates, and case progress.
- Communicate with clients to request and follow up on required documents and information.
- Maintain accurate case records and organize documents within the firm's case management system.
- Conduct case-related research and assist attorneys with preparing supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and other team members to keep cases moving efficiently.
- Perform administrative and legal support tasks as assigned by the attorney.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a U.S. immigration law firm.
- Strong experience handling employment-based immigration matters.
- Hands-on experience with at least several of the following:
- E Visas
- H Visas
- L Visas
- Employment-Based Adjustment of Status (AOS)
- Strong understanding of U.S. immigration procedures and documentation requirements.
- Experience preparing and reviewing immigration forms and supporting documents.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently while following attorney instructions.
- Experience with immigration case management software is a strong advantage.
- BPO or U.S. client-facing experience is a plus.
