Job Summary:
The Legal Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's legal operations related to real estate mortgage financing. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal documentation, supervising legal staff, and providing sound legal advice to support business operations while minimizing legal risks.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Legal Department
  • Review and amends (if necessary) all contracts and legal instruments, agreements, promissory notes, and other related documents
  • Ensure compliance with real estate, financing, and corporate laws, as well as government regulations.
  • Assist in preparing, filing and organizing legal documents.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies if necessary
  • Oversee due diligence processes for property titles, ownership, verification, and documentation.
  • Drafts and analyzes legal documents and takes charge of coordination and recommendation to our legal counsel.
  • Assist in policy creation, review, and implementation to ensure legal compliance.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate legal staff performance.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain office calendar.
  • Perform general administrative task (filing, scanning, and record management)
  • Monitor case filing and update case files and information.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as Secretary/Legal Assistance/Legal Supervisor.
  • With supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, mortgage process, and foreclosure procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
