Legal Specialist
TheLegal Specialistprovides end-to-end support to the Legal team by managing legal documentation, regulatory coordination, corporate governance processes, and compliance-related activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate documentation, timely submissions, and strong alignment between business teams, legal stakeholders, and external regulators.
This position is suited for early-career professionals with solid exposure in legal support or compliance who are ready to take on more ownership in legal operations within a corporate environment.
As a Legal Specialist, you will:
Manage legal documents and contract lifecycle end-to-end- including drafting, reviewing, and ensuring all documents are accurate, compliant, and aligned with approved templates, while coordinating closely with stakeholders.
Lead corporate governance and legal operations support- including preparation of corporate housekeeping documents (e.g., Minutes, Secretary's Certificates, POAs), managing legal workflows, and maintaining compliance records and logs.
Oversee government and regulatory coordination- ensuring timely and accurate processing of permits, licenses, and filings, while acting as the main point of contact for internal teams and external regulators.
Support compliance across marketing and business activities- by conducting preliminary legal screening of marketing and digital materials, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment before release.
Provide legal research, compliance assessments, and project coordination- by identifying regulatory requirements, flagging risks, and supporting cross-functional initiatives to ensure compliant business execution.
Requirements:
College graduatein any of the following:
- Law (JD graduate or law student nearing completion)
- Legal Management
- Other related courses with relevant legal or administrative exposure
- At least2-3 years of experiencein legal support, paralegal work, compliance coordination, or regulatory documentation. Experience in alaw firm or multinational companyis preferred.
- Proficient inEnglish and Filipino, especially for coordination with local authorities and internal stakeholders.
Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and potential risks in documents
Basic understanding of legal terminology, regulatory processes, and compliance requirements
Highly organized and proactive in managing tasks and deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word is essential Excel and PowerPoint for tracking/reporting)
Familiarity with legal technology tools (e.g., Copilot) is an advantage
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Willing to do minimal onsite or field work when needed (e.g., government offices)
