Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Secretary based in Makati. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for managing legal documents, assisting attorneys, providing clerical support, and maintaining organized case files. Duties also include diary management, meeting coordination, and ensuring timely task completion to support the legal team's operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, and finalize legal documents (pleadings, contracts, letters, reports)
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and scheduling of meetings and hearings
  • Handle email correspondence and client communications with proper tone and discretion
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital files
  • Assist in government filings and coordination (e.g., SEC, BIR, courts, other agencies)
  • Monitor and track case status, submissions, and compliance deadlines
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to lawyers and paralegals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or any related field
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a law office or similar environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Project Management Software (Monday.com)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability
