Job Summary:
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, with a focus on SEC, BSP, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirement.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle all compliance matters for Lending and Financing Company, including regulatory compliance, periodical compliance report and product related compliance issues.
- Manage and oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance for Lending and Financing Company.
- Handle compliance matters for credit card-related business activities.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory requirements, including those issued by relevant government and regulatory authorities.
- Identify, assess, and address compliance risks; recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external regulators on compliance-related matters, inquiries, and examinations.
- Prepare, review, and submit required compliance reports, filings, and disclsures.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct compliance reviews and provide guidance to ensure business activities align with regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of relevant compliance experience; candidates with a minimum of 2 years may be considered if experience is highly relevant.
- Experience in SEC and/or BSP compliance is required; BSP-related AML experience is a strong advantage.
- Law degree is not required but is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, particularly in financial services or fintech.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple compliance matters independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
