The position is primarily responsible for providing legal support and assistance to the Department Head in all legal matters concerning the Bank. The position involves handling documentation, legal research, and advisory functions to ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This role is open to
fresh bar passers or newly admitted lawyers who wish to build their legal career in the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and reports
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Attend court, quasi-judicial, and administrative proceedings
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, external counsels, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with banking laws and internal policies
Qualifications
- Law graduate or Bar Examination Passer (fresh bar passers are welcome to apply)
- Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and compliance is an advantage
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Willing to work on-site in Bacoor, Cavite
