Ensure end-to-end legal compliance in food manufacturing operations, including product labeling and food safety incident response.
Review, draft, and manage contracts, and oversee risk control across supply chain, distribution channels, supermarkets/retail chains, and e-commerce platforms.
Manage intellectual property (IP) protection and enforcement, including trademarks, patents, and packaging design rights.
Provide proactive, business-oriented legal counsel by working closely with key stakeholders, including senior management, on a wide range of legal and compliance matters.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and workplace safety requirements related to manufacturing operations.
Perform other legal-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in law and a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
At least five (8) years of relevant experience in legal business partnering with internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to independently manage labor-related cases, contract disputes, and regulatory compliance matters.
Solid experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
Demonstrated capability to establish, implement, and enhance compliance systems within an organization.
Strong ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is an advantage.
