Job Description
- This role is responsible for driving financial regulatory compliance in the Philippines and managing all local labor relations. Key priorities include leading/supporting regulatory applications to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), specifically Operator of Payment System (OPS) and Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licenses as well as directly handling employee relations, labor dispute resolutions, and commercial agreements.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Bar Qualification: Admission to the Philippine Bar is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal experience in financial regulation, labor law, or corporate compliance in the Philippines.
- Licensing Expertise (Must-Have): Direct hands-on experience with BSP regulatory frameworks, specifically with EMI (Electronic Money Institution) and OPS (Operator of Payment System) license applications or compliance.
- Labor Dispute Experience (Must-Have): Proven track record of handling labor relation disputes, managing employee grievances, SENA proceedings, and NLRC dispute resolution processes.
