About the Company

The Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management Functional Lead will be responsible for overseeing the startup of the offshore Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management teams and related operations within our offshore GBC. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in building and managing global teams, partnering closely with onshore leadership and resources, as well as prior knowledge of and experience with behavioral health, a managed care environment and associated issues of health system and government relations in the US-based healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of driving team performance to achieve strategic goals with established policies, processes and regulations, utilizing KPIs to track progress. The ability to clearly articulate the priorities of a complex and dynamic organization and guide staff to follow established legal, compliance and facilities management strategies which forward these priorities within acceptable limits of risk and exposure is a must.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management resource transition, establishment and development of the Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management functions inclusive of Legal, Compliance, and Facilities Management infrastructure, support and resources for the newly established Manila office.
  • Recruit, train, and manage high-performing Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management teams, ensuring alignment with company goals, KPIs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with US-based stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management solutions in the GBC.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of processes, ensuring GBC staff comply with company policies, industry standards and regulations in the work that they perform.
  • Contribute to and execute Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management strategies to support the growth and scalability of the offshore center.
  • Provide a broad range of legal, compliance and facilities management support services including those services required to support onshore business objectives. Could also include assistance in the development of policies, procedures and strategy to address a wide range of issues related to health care administration, management and operations.
  • Assure conformity and adherence with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as program or payor standards and expectations.
  • Manage resources to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Legal, Compliance and Facilities Management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Compliance, Paralegal Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Legal or Healthcare Compliance leadership roles, with a focus on building and managing offshore teams.
  • Proven experience working with US-based healthcare companies.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems of care and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Legal or Healthcare Compliance teams.
  • Strong understanding of Facilities Management concepts including leasing, operations, maintenance and repair, and facilities project management.
  • Established knowledge of healthcare industry best practices and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and overlapping projects.
  • A self-starter and independent worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle diverse workload.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to coordinate groups and constituencies with differing priorities and perspectives.
  • Familiarity with various Technology/Tools, including ProLease, Avatar, SmartCare, Relias, HIE Systems, DLP Software, FootPrints, Hyena, MS Office Tools (O365), SmartSheet, CentralPoint.
