The Drawing Board

RedDoorz Philippines is seeking a dedicated Legal and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Head of Legal (General Counsel) in the Philippines and work closely with various support teams across the country. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies and maintaining high standards of legal and ethical practices.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Compliance Management

  • Act as the Company's Compliance Officer.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory government agencies (SEC, BIR, LGU, DTI, etc.)
  • Lead departments in fulfilling compliance requirements for business partnerships.
  • Spearhead compliance trainings and events to educate and guide the organization.

Documentation Management

  • Maintain and organize corporate, legal, and compliance documents for departmental use.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Other Responsibilities and Attributes

  • Report directly to the Head of Legal (General Counsel) and provide insights on compliance-related matters.
  • Execute legal functions, facilitate government applications, and perform additional tasks as directed by the Head of Legal (General Counsel).
  • Display willingness to learn, adaptability, industriousness, and strong ethical principles.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in legal and compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Graduate of Legal Management or any related field.
  • Law student or Graduate of Law (preferred but not required).
