The Legal Administrative Associate provides administrative and clerical support to the Legal team to ensure efficient operations. The role involves document management, coordination, scheduling, and general administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all legal-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including lawyers and legal managers
- Prepare, format, proofread, and maintain legal documents and correspondence
- Manage filing systems (electronic and physical) for contracts, agreements, and legal records
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and appointments; prepare meeting materials as required
- Assist in tracking deadlines, legal deliverables, and document status
- Handle email correspondence and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders
- Support basic research, data gathering, and document reviews under supervision
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with internal policies and legal standards
- Perform general administrative tasks such as reports, trackers, and coordination activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in legal management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- At least 1–2 years of experience in legal administrative support, executive assistance, or general administrative roles
- Familiarity with legal documentation and basic legal terminology is an advantage
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Technical / Skills Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with document management systems is a plus
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
