About the Role:
The Leasing Officer will support the implementation of leasing strategies to increase and maximize tenant occupancy of the mall. The role focuses on sourcing potential short-term tenants/exhibitors, negotiating lease terms, coordinating tenant concerns, and ensuring all leasing processes are aligned with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and engage prospective short-term tenants and exhibitors.
- Conduct lease negotiations, including rates, terms, and operational requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of lease agreements, MOAs, and related documentation.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants and address their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor tenant accounts, assist with credit assessments.
- Ensure compliance with leasing policies, documentation standards, and internal approval protocols.
- Support occupancy planning and implementation of leasing programs to meet revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal mall departments for operational and tenant-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least3 years of experiencein leasing, retail management, property management, or a related shopping center environment.
- Candidates with any type of leasing experience will be considered for this role.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- With excellent communication, coordination, and organisational abilities.
- Customer service-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
