The Leasing Officer is responsible for generating leads, marketing available office spaces, and managing the end-to-end leasing process for commercial office properties.
Key Responsibilities
I. Leasing & Business Development
- Identify and pursue prospective tenants for available office spaces through outbound calls, referrals, broker networks, and site visits
- Conduct property tours and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting building features, amenities, and value propositions
- Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, and concessions within approved guidelines
- Prepare and process Letters of Intent (LOI), lease contracts, and renewal agreements
II. Market & Client Management
- Monitor market trends, competitor rates, and vacancy levels to recommend competitive pricing strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, corporate tenants, and referral partners
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online listing platforms
- Maintain an updated database of prospects, leads, and lease status using CRM tools
III. Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare leasing proposals, quotations, and comparative space analyses for prospective clients
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Property Management teams on lease documentation, billing setup, and tenant move-in requirements
- Ensure all leasing transactions comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Track and report on leasing pipeline, occupancy rates, and monthly/quarterly leasing targets
IV. Tenant Relations
- Support tenant onboarding and coordinate turnover of leased spaces
- Address tenant concerns related to lease terms and escalate as needed
- Assist in lease renewal negotiations and retention strategies to minimize vacancy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in office leasing or commercial leasing
- Proven track record in achieving leasing or sales targets
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/leasing software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts/deals simultaneously
