Summary
Position will carry out data validation audit / compliance projects and execute audit programs/ plans, ensuring that all policies and prescribed procedures are adhered to.
RESPONSIBILITY
A high degree of independence is required on a day-to-day basis; primary duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Carrying out lease administration data validation audits by verifying lease abstracts against source documents.
- Performing compliance audits using policies, standard operating procedures, and prescribed guidelines.
- Communicating with operations team and abstractors to remediate issues.
- Analyzing findings, assessing impacts, and driving data consistency and quality.
- Tracking audit progress and ensuring closure on open issues.
- Escalating major non-compliance issues and data accuracy findings.
- Identifying root causes and recurring patterns to data quality and compliance issues
- Supporting in-region SOC1 audit and ad-hoc lease admin related projects
- Benchmarking with peer team members and regions for best practices and driving consistency in delivery of quality audit program
- Assisting in mentoring, developing and coaching junior talents as needed
Skills And Experience
- University qualifications (Commerce or Real Estate background preferred) and at least 5 years relevant work experience, of which 3-4 years of internal and/or external audit experience, or combined equivalent
- Attention to detail, analytical, and data accuracy and quality minded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Use of MS Power BI and other Power tools application is a plus.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain and manage priorities; ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Fluent English (any second foreign language would be an advantage)
