Job Description

Job Purpose

The Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) Manager is responsible for designing, driving, and scaling learning strategies, talent management frameworks, and capability-building programs across the organization. In a high-growth, tech-enabled shared services and managed solutions ecosystem, this role ensures that our workforce remains agile, future-ready, and aligned with client-centric service demands and business growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning & Development Strategy

  • Needs Analysis: Conduct organizational needs assessments across business units (IT, Shared Services, Business Transformation, Operations) to identify capability gaps.
  • Program Design & Execution: Architect end-to-end learning solutions—including functional upskilling, leadership development, compliance, and onboarding programs.
  • Digital & Blended Learning: Drive the implementation and adoption of digital learning platforms (LMS, micro-learning apps) and gamified learning experiences.
  • L&D ROI & Analytics: Establish key performance metrics to track learning impact, employee adoption, skill acquisition, and business ROI.

2. Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Talent Frameworks: Implement talent identification, performance management, and career progression pathways tailored to client-facing and corporate roles.
  • Succession Management: Identify critical roles and high-potential (HiPo) employees; build targeted development programs to build a strong talent bench.
  • Competency Mapping: Continuously update and refine job competency models aligned with evolving tech and industry capabilities.

3. Leadership & Culture Building

  • Managerial Capabilities: Develop leadership workshops and coaching programs to build agile, empathetic, and performance-driven managers.
  • Continuous Learning Culture: Champion initiatives that foster continuous learning, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and employee engagement.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Embed inclusive leadership principles into all learning modules and developmental opportunities.

4. Partner & Vendor Management

  • External Providers: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training providers, academic institutions, and certification bodies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the L&TD budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Talent Development, Organizational Development, or HR Business Partnering.
  • Experience within Shared Services, BPO, Managed Services, Technology, or Telecom environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end talent frameworks and digital learning ecosystems.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with modern Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR), and instructional design tools.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics to measure learning effectiveness.
